Spend 2 nights in Sonar Bangla ,Taki. It’s a magnificent property on the banks off Ichamati. Other side is Bangladesh. Rooms , views , toilets are perfect. Food quality is good . Hospitality of the staffs are A grade. They are going out of the ways to help the guests. Staffs like Siraj , Priya & Tithi are out standing .

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night. The property is huge along the river side. The exterior lawns & pool area are well maintained. Rooms and Washrooms are average. Food is really good. The restaurant and in room dining staff was amazingly hospitable. We were served and looked after by restaurant staff Siraj Mondal who was very professional in his work and made our in room dining as well as the restaurant experience a very comfortable one. The service provided by Mr. Siraj was commendable.

Our stay in this hotel was from 10/04/2024 to 12/04/2024 and booked 2 superior rooms. The hotel is amazing, with a great location situated on the banks of river Ichchamati. The pros: 1. The view is impeccable and is comparable to no other property, at least in the area. 2. The food is tasty. Both quality and quantity are sufficient. 3. All the staff are very well behaved and courteous, they will advise through any queries one has. 4. The property is very ornately maintained and kept clean. 5. The rooms are clean and spacious. Cons: 1. The parking is not really as large in fact safe to say on full occupancy there could be some issue with space. 2. The service is somewhat slow as the breakfast could be late by 30 minutes. 3. It might be slightly difficult to find the property first time. 4. A few toiletries like shaving kit and such can also be added. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and unforgettable without any hassle or issues. Special mention to Mr. Udayan Majumdar, he did a great job at personally coming and asking our feedback of the stay. Quite a commendable initiative taken by a hotel and its staff. The hotel has done it's level best to make the place an oasis to entire area. It's a must stay when coming to Taki.

Excellent view of Ichamati backed by Bangladesh from the property. Awesome taste of food. Endless greenery within the property alongwith the fun of swimming pool. Darshan of MA KALI within is extra. And last but not the least is the hospitality of the staffs.

just 2 hours drive from kolkata, its a perfect get away for those much needed 1 or 2 night breaks on the verge of Ichamati river along with all imaginable services possible from swimming pools to inroom sports activity , roof top lounge , river side cafe and excellent behavioral staffs
